Throughout his 87 years, Howard was fortunate to enjoy the many beautiful things life had to offer.  He especially took pleasure in the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing or a round of golf, as he played an immense role in the construction of the Drayton Valley Golf Club’s back nine. ...

On the afternoon of Friday, November 1, 2019 Richard Arthur Smyth took his last breath at Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 87 years.   Art wore many hats.  He worked for the CPR, was a land surveyor for Canadian Utilities and retired as an educator; where he was both a teacher and principal.  Playing an immense  role in starting the Drayton Valley 55 Plus Recreation Centre made him one of its greatest supporters.   Art had many loves...

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Forrest B. Stewart at Mayerthorpe Long Term Care on the morning of Friday, October 25, 2019 at the age of 86 years. He is lovingly remembered by his beautiful family, both here and in Prince Edward Island. At a later date, Forrest will be returned to Prince Edward Island, where his heart has always remained.
