 Brenda Olive Welton

November 27, 1960 – December 28, 2020

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Welton on Monday, December 28, 2020 at the age of 60 years.

Brenda was very generous with the time she volunteered to various community organizations and how deeply she loved her family and friends. 

Brenda faced many challenges and storms, all the while remaining resilient; this inspired those around her to cherish every moment and to love wholeheartedly.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Fred Welton; daughter, Katie and son-in-law Will Higgins; grandchildren, Tripp, Violet and Hali; parents, Ruth and Ralph Williams; siblings, Wendy (Bill) Hall, Kathy (Murray) Waugh, Jessica Williams, Rick (Tina) Williams and Michael (Katrina) Williams; nieces and nephews, Chris, Ryan, Amanda, Amy, Dena, Josh, Kheria, Samantha, Ricky, Cassie, Lauren and Will.

She is predeceased by her grandparents, Ralph and Olive Williams, and Doreen and Henry Rattray.   

Brenda’s family is extremely grateful to the Doctors and staff at U of A Hospital, Whitecourt Healthcare Centre and the amazing staff at the Eberhart Home Hemodialysis Unit for the compassionate care provided.

Memorial contributions in Brenda’s name may be made directly to the Kidney Foundation.
