James Austin Lee Clark
April 4, 2003 – December 28, 2020
It is with incredible heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of our son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. James passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at the young age of 17 years.
James loved anything that included the outdoors; he was an avid fisherman and grew to become an achieved hunter. With the ability to spend much time with his family on the Pink Mountain Outfitter’s property, he holds the record for the biggest black bear shot at the age of 15 years. Just this fall, he harvested his first elk.
He will forever be lovingly remembered by his mother, Melissa Clark; father, Stacy Clark (Erin Harris); siblings, Anthony, Elizabeth, Dakota, Hunter and Oliver; grandparents, Lloyd and Dawn Clark and Debbie McKenzie; great-gramma Alice Threadgold; aunts and uncles, Marty (Arja) Clark, Holly Clark, Allen (Joanne) Beach and Sheri (Trevor) Taylor; numerous cousins, extended family and friends, as well as his girlfriend, Anya Scholten.
James is predeceased by his grandfather, Donald McKenzie; cousin, Aimee Clark and uncle, Sean Clark.
Due to current restrictions, the family is planning on celebrating James life in the spring.
For those who so desire, memorial donations in James’ name may be made directly to Stollery Children’s Hospital.
