Jean Louise Platz
April 1, 1941 – March 21, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jean Louise Platz announce her passing at Drayton Valley, on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at the age of 79 years.
Jean will always be remembered by her three children, Donny (Penny) Platz, Lyle (Betty) Platz, Cindy (Darwin) Platz; her seven grandchildren, Merle, Dion, Tyler, Jean, Julie, Lonnie, Pamela and seven greatgrandchildren, Autumn, Hailey, Emma, Juda, Jaben, Sophia and Jase.
Also left to treasure her memory are Jean's siblings Verna, Ralph and Edward, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jean was predeceased by her husband, Frank Platz, parents John Cunningham and Louise Savard along with siblings Wesley, Audrey, Edna, John, Lloyd and Eunice.
The family are so grateful for the gift of Jean’s life in theirs, and will especially remember all the journeys to various Bingo Halls that Jean loved to play in. Her laughter and love always made such times so much fun and are now treasured memories of the moments shared with this wonderful lady.
A private service will take place at Life Church, 5115 50 Ave, Drayton Valley, Alberta, on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Rye officiating.
